Manual setting, 5.6 f-stop because that's the sweet spot on all photo optics, reduced flash to suit the distance, macro on, no effects and a steady rest for the camera. I'll have to begin bracketing the focus because the automatic is always a bit shy of the eyes even on the best of circumstances.
He is big and strong and not unlike myself in temperment. He can be a bit nasty at times. heh
